S.A.S Builders are seeking a Junior QS to join our team in Pukekohe. Initially this will be a part-time role with potential to become a full-time role as the company expands. This could either be as 2 x full days or 3 x half days, happy to discuss a solution that works for all involved.
We are a high-end construction company specialising in renovations and new builds. We are currently a small but mighty team, each of us specialising in our own fields and fuelled by a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to our clients.
You will be expected to manage your time independently, be self-motivated and able to produce accurate pricing schedules and documentation.
Job Description & Requirements:
* Pricing of residential construction projects from smaller renovations through to large scale new builds. From initial calculations through to final figures
* Establishing pricing and preparing quote documentation for potential contracts, including government tenders
* A university qualification is not an absolute requirement, however possessing a common-sense approach is
* Ability to deal with multiple projects
* Sound knowledge of residential building regulations and construction practices
